Robert Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen, Twilight's dreamy vampire, has the entire cover of Entertainment Weekly all to himself in the 12/05/08 issue, just hitting newstands. Not only that, but a good part of this issue of EW is devoted to Twilight. The cover story about what happens next is titled "Where Does the Fandemonium Lead Now?"

The article discussed the fact that the money that Twilight, the movie, took in its first weekend, far exceeded all expectations. As soon as they saw that Twilight was a hit, the go ahead was given for a movie based on New Moon, the second book in the Twilight series. The only actors who guaranteed a return are the two leads, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

It would be nice if Hollywood would take female audiences more seriously now and start making more movies for us. Not all movies need to be made for the mentality of a teenage boy. When females of all ages love a movie look what they can do. Teenage girls were said to have had a big part in turning Titanic into the blockbuster it was. Now Twilight is a major hit. Maybe if more good movies were made that appealed to females of all ages, Hollywood would see results like this much more often.

That's true. I don't know when Hollywood decided that women don't spend money, what with all these bromance movies and gangster flicks. The biggest movie of all time is still Titanic. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out!
