After all the rumors about Sarah Palin appearing on Saturday Night live, it looks like it is finally going to happen. Palin is now scheduled to appear on SNL on Saturday night, October 25th. She is expected to spoof both herself and Tina Fey. I don't know if Tina Fey will also be appearing, but one can only hope. The ratings would go through the roof.
Speaking of ratings, I read in Entertainment Weekly that even though Saturday Night Live has been getting more viewers than ever for the first 15 minutes of the show, the dropoff after that is more extreme than usual. So SNL isn't really adding more in the way of viewers for the remainder of the airing of the show.
I wonder if appearing on Saturday Night Live will help or hurt Sarah Palin. I am worried that it might actually help her. Most people respond well to someone that can laugh at themself. Hopefully viewers will still see that she is in no way capable of the job she is running for.

I find your blog very interesting. Good to see it. keep it up.
I don't care how much Sarah Palin tries to laugh at herself. If she gets elected as VP, it won't be a laughing matter.
Her handlers are trying to make sure she is seen as an average American. Clinton got a huge bump in popularity when he appeared on the Arsenio Hall show playing the saxophone. My guess is that Palin hopes to get the same kind of result.
And SNL still sucks. The ratings show that everyone knows this, and the drop off after 15 minutes is absolute proof.
I don't wonder about Palin but a lot people
like to know more about thanks to your blog
is well done.
Cheers
NY Mafia and webandrank, thanks for the very kind remarks about my blog.
Anon and Judge, I totally agree with both of you.
